ANGELOS MISSION ENSEMBLE
Audition Requirements:
-Open to ages 10 - 18 -Repertoire: 1 solo piece of your choosing
-Date of audition: Oct 13th -Location: PCNJ -Time: please call to make reservation: 917 538 0539 -Fee: $ 300 (10 weeks program)
5th Term Schedule: Date: Oct. 13 - Dec. 15th (saturdays only) Time: 12pm - 3pm

Dec. 8th session 8 (dress rehearsal) Dec. 15th 2pm Family concert (PCNJ main sanctuary) 5pm Outreach Concert (local retirement home-hospital-hospice) 7pm Dinner party
Dec. 16th Benefit concert for the winner ensemble group.
Additional Activities added this term:
-
Competition: winner chamber music group will be honored to participate in a benefit concert with the teachers on Dec. 16th.
- $300 scholarship at the end of the 5th term to one student who shows excellence in overall participation through out AME.
- Concert: retirement home: Dec 15th.
- Secret Santa and other fun activities (dinner party)
mission statement
AME's mission is to
provide a supportive environment where each student's musical and
spiritual development is encouraged through chamber music and in-depth
discussion. Through positive interactions, chamber music reinforces
values such as responsibility, leadership, cooperation, collaboration
and harmony. Our purpose is to nurture each student in a way that
enables them to develop technical and musical ability in order to
freely express themselves in praising God.
spiritual goals -to help each student be closer to God by the end of the 8 week session. -to raise up powerful leaders and humble followers of Christ in the next generation. -to teach specific theme each term in depth as the weeks progress. this year's theme is compassion.
musical goals -one family concert at the end of the term at the place where each saturday meetings are held. (given by the students.) -one
outreach concert at the end of the semester which will be given at
various settings. (retirement homes, hospitals, churches etc...)
-to give various benefit concerts a year (given by faculty
concerts) to support non-profit organization. (include orphanages,
mission work worldwide, homeless aide, and other global humanitarian
causes)

-to help students appreciate classical music. -to teach students the importance in praising God through chamber music. -to create harmony with one another and develop Christ praising community. -to introduce the Creator of music thru musical studies.
